Keri Wright joins Memphis Airport Authority board

Memphis, TN - Keri Wright, chairman and CEO of Universal Asset Management Inc., is the newest county appointee to the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners.
Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell Jr. nominated Wright to succeed longtime board commissioner Jon Thompson. The Memphis City Council approved Luttrell’s nomination at its April 7 meeting.
Keri earned her bachelor’s and a Master of Science degree in International Aviation Operations from Purdue University. An avid aviator, Keri has competed in air races while also sitting on the Air Race Classic Board of Directors. She is a Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor and her preferred mode of transportation is piloting her own airplane.
Commissioner Thompson’s term expired on Dec. 31, 2013. Wright’s term is effective immediately and will expire on Dec. 31, 2020.
