US-based Aircraft Lessor Intrepid Aviation files for IPO

Nov 19, 2014 - Stamford, Connecticut. Intrepid Aviation has reportedly filed for an initial public offering of common stock with U.S. regulators. 

As of June 13, 2014, the company owned 16 aircraft planes leased to 12 airlines, including Alitalia (A330), Sichuan Airlines (A330), Air Namibia (A330), Skymark Airlines (A330), Thai Airways (B777), China Airlines (A330), LOT Polish Airlines (787), Air France (B777), EVA Airways (A321), Ethiopian Airlines (B777), Philippine Airlines (B777) , Asiana Airlines (A330).

The company counts funds affiliated with Reservoir Capital Group LLC and Centerbridge Partners LP among its stockholders and has raised about $1.8 billion through debt financing.

Intrepid Aviation intends to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "INTR".

The company listed Goldman Sachs, BofA Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank Securities among its underwriters. (Form S Registration Statement)
