Hosted at the Sakhir Airbase in a purpose-built aviation arena, the second Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is being organised through the continuing partnership of Civil Aviation Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain and UK exhibitions organiser, Farnborough International Ltd. BIAS 2012 will take place from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 January 2012. The Kingdom of Bahrain has a long and historic association with aviation. Responsible for both the region’s first international carrier as well as the Gulf’s first international aviation hub, the airshow underlines why Bahrain remains a regional leader in the aviation sector.
