The principal surveyor and owner Bob Hayes holds an Airframe and Powerplant license, an Accredited Claims Adjuster designation and a Certified Aircraft Appraiser designation. His experience in aviation includes being a General Manager, Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector for FAA repair stations overhauling reciprocating engines, accomplishing Heavy Maintenance Inspections, major structural repairs to damaged general and commercial transport aircraft of all types. He has been called in to recover damaged aircraft and work as an objective third party directly with the NTSB, FAA and manufacturers during the tear down inspection of aircraft engines and/or other components considered part of a accident investigation. Also in his background is the position of Heavy Maintenance Manager/Representative, Quality Control Inspector and Auditor with Part 121 carriers, positions that require a complete knowledge of large transport category aircraft systems, structural repair criteria along with the responsibility to oversee and control the actual costs for heavy maintenance overhaul and modification projects.
